  • Runner-up is Mangja from South Korea (Virtus.pro)

On February 1, 2026, at the Global Finals of the "TEKKEN World Tour 2025"β€”the official tour organized by Bandai Namco Entertainment to determine the world's bestβ€”LowHigh from South Korea, representing DRX, emerged victorious to claim the title of world champion.

After finishing as the runner-up following a loss to ULSAN in the Esports World Cup 2025 finals last year, LowHigh successfully secured his revenge on the global stage. This marks his first world championship title in eight years, since Evo 2018 for the previous title, Tekken 7.

LowHigh advanced to the Global Finals seeded 6th on the Global Leaderboard. In the Group Stage, despite being placed in a challenging group featuring elite competitors such as last year's champion Rangchu, he maintained incredible focus to finish 1st in his group with a perfect 3-0 record.

In the ensuing Top 20 Final Bracket, LowHigh suffered a setback in the Winners Semifinals against Mangja, dropping to the Losers Bracket. However, he demonstrated indomitable spirit by defeating one formidable opponent after another. Upon reaching the Grand Finals, he won the rematch against Mangja to complete his spectacular redemption arc.

η”°Grand Finals

The Grand Finals featured a clash between Mangja (Law) coming from the Winners side and LowHigh (Bryan) fighting from the Losers side. Previous encounters between the two in ULTIMATE FIGHTING ARENA 2025 and Phase 2 of Esports World Cup 2025 had both resulted in victories for LowHigh.

The match began with intense, back-and-forth action, with both Game 1 and Game 2 coming down to a final round. Leveraging Bryan's superior damage output and the momentum from his losers bracket run, LowHigh took the set 3-0 to reset the bracket.

In the subsequent Grand Finals Reset, LowHigh maintained absolute control, forcing Mangja into difficult defensive situations. The final game took place on the PAC-PIXELS stage, where LowHigh's masterful execution allowed him to dominate the environment and his opponent. Securing a flawless victory while conceding only a single round after the reset, LowHigh captured the world title with a stunning performance, winning six consecutive games from the start of the Grand Finals.
