COMBO BREAKER 2025 was held in Illinois, USA, from May 24 to 26, 2025. The Guilty Gear -Strive- division featured 619 entrants, and UMISHO emerged as the champion.UMISHOโs first major tournament win since CEO 2024.
The tournament is designated as a Platinum event for the Arc World Tour 2025-2026. As a result, UMISHO earned a qualification slot for the Arc World Tour 2025-2026 Finals.
UMISHO previously competed in the Arc World Tour Finals in both 2023 and 2024.
The Grand Finals saw a rematch between Jack (Happy Chaos) from the Winners Side and UMISHO (Sin) from the Losers Side. After losing to Jack in the Winners Finals, UMISHO defeated Nitro in the Losers Finals to earn her shot at redemption.
In the Grand Finals, UMISHO first secured a 3-1 victory to reset the bracket. She maintained her momentum into the final set, quickly taking a 2-0 lead and reaching tournament point. Although Jack managed to take one game back to bring the score to 2-1, UMISHO stayed composed and pushed through to close out the match 3-1. With this victory, UMISHO successfully avenged her earlier loss and claimed the championship.
