In a form of redemption from last year, NotPedro fought his way through a tournament featuring Brazil's strongest competitors and successfully claimed the representative spot for the South American Brazil region. In the same regional tournament last season (2024), NotPedro was defeated by Zangief Bolado in the Grand Finals.
The Grand Finals featured NotPedro (Ken) and Kyuki (JP). The two had previously met in the Winners Finals, where NotPedro emerged victorious.
With a first-ever Capcom Cup spot on the line for both, the match reached a 2-2 tie. In the final round, Kyuki survived a low-health burnout to reset the situation. However, NotPedro capitalized on the opening of a Departure setup, finishing the match with a Drive Rush into Heavy Punch. With a 3-2 victory, NotPedro secured his first-ever qualification for the Capcom Cup.
