Space Wins Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising at ULTIMATE FIGHTING ARENA 2025

Space (mCon esports), representing the Netherlands, claimed victory in the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising division at ULTIMATE FIGHTING ARENA 2025, held on September 13th in Aubervilliers, France. Outlasting a field of 79 competitors, this win marks Space’s first major tournament victory since VSFighting XIII.

As a designated Platinum Event for the Arc World Tour 2025-2026, the winner of this tournament is awarded a direct qualification for the Finals. With this win, Space has officially qualified for the Finals scheduled for March 2026.

Having also competed in the Arc World Tour 2024 Finals last season, this marks Space's second consecutive year qualifying for the championship.

Grand Finals

The Grand Finals featured a showdown between Skyll (Soriz/Wilnas), who advanced through the Winners Bracket, and Space (Cagliostro/Beatrix), who fought his way up from the Losers Bracket.

Space faced a challenging path after being sent to the Losers Bracket by PouletRobot in the Winners Quarterfinals. However, he showed incredible resilience, winning a series of matches to reach the Grand Finals.

Throughout the tournament, Space played both Cagliostro and Beatrix. However, in the Grand Finals and the subsequent bracket reset, he stayed consistent with Cagliostro. Skyll attempted to counter by playing Wilnas in the first set and Soriz after the reset, but Space successfully repelled the pressure to complete his comeback victory.
