Xerom Wins the GBVSR Division at COMBO BREAKER 2025

COMBO BREAKER 2025 was held in Illinois, USA, from May 24th to 26th, 2025. In the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (GBVSR) division, Xerom (USA), representing Kanme Esports, emerged victorious. A total of 430 players competed in this division.

As a designated Platinum Event for the Arc World Tour (AWT) 2025-2026, the winner of this tournament is awarded a direct qualification for the tour finals. With this victory, Xerom has punched his ticket to the AWT 2025-2026 Finals, scheduled to take place in March 2026.

Xerom has been a dedicated Charlotta main since the original GBVS, and he claimed the title once again with his signature character. His previous major achievements include winning CEOtaku 2024 in December 2024.

The Grand Finals featured Zane (Grimnir) on the Winners Side and Xerom (Charlotta) on the Losers Side. Xerom, having lost to Zane in the Winners Finals, sought to avenge his loss in this high-stakes rematch.

The first set was a back-and-forth battle, with Xerom narrowly securing a 3-2 victory to reset the bracket. In the final reset match, Xerom unleashed the full potential of Charlotta’s toolkit. His versatile and relentless offensive pressure completely overwhelmed Zane, leading to a dominant 3-0 sweep. By adapting perfectly to his opponent and avenging his earlier defeat, Xerom completed a stunning comeback to claim the championship title.
